Areas I Work With

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or painful. Counselling provides a safe, supportive space to explore what’s happening for you, make sense of your experiences, and begin to find balance, clarity, and ease. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of challenges, including:

Anxiety, Stress & Panic

Living with anxiety or panic can feel relentless, with racing thoughts, tension in the body, constant worry or a sense that you’re always on edge. Together, we can explore what drives these patterns, understand how your nervous system responds to stress, and develop ways to feel calmer, safer and more grounded in everyday life.

Sadness & Depression

Persistent unhappiness, low mood or a sense of emptiness can make life feel heavy and exhausting. You may feel disconnected from yourself or from things that once mattered. Counselling provides space to explore what’s behind these feelings, understand their roots and begin to reconnect with a sense of meaning, motivation and emotional balance.

Low Self-Esteem & Low Self-Confidence

Struggling with low self-esteem or confidence can affect how you see yourself, how you relate to others and your ability to make the right decisions. You may feel social anxiety, shame or a fear of not being “good enough”. Counselling can help you understand where these patterns developed, challenge limiting beliefs and build a more secure and confident sense of self.

Bereavement, Loss & Grief

Grief can arise from the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, changes in health, family estrangement or major life transitions. Loss can bring waves of sadness, numbness, anger or confusion. Therapy offers a supportive space to process grief at your own pace and find ways to live alongside loss while moving forward with care and self-compassion.

Trauma & Past Difficulties

Experiences from the past can continue to shape how you feel, think and relate in the present. Trauma may show up as anxiety, anger, emotional numbness, shutdown or difficulty trusting others. Together, we can explore these experiences safely, build emotional regulation and support healing over time.

Family Issues & Relationships

Difficulties within families or close relationships can be painful and confusing. You may feel misunderstood, stuck in repeating patterns or unsure how to communicate your needs. Counselling can help you explore family dynamics, improve boundaries and communication, and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Identity & Life Transitions

Changes in personal identity, career or life circumstances can feel disorienting. Therapy offers a space to explore who you are, what matters to you and how to navigate transitions with clarity and self-awareness.

ADHD & Attention Difficulties

Living with ADHD can affect focus, motivation, organisation, emotional regulation and self-esteem. You may feel overwhelmed, frustrated or constantly distracted. Therapy offers space to understand how ADHD impacts your life, develop practical strategies and work in ways that nuture your inherent ability to excel.

Addictions & Habits

Habits or addictions often develop as ways of coping with stress, anxiety, emotional pain or emptiness. Counselling provides a non-judgmental space to explore what’s driving these patterns, understand their function and begin developing healthier, more meaningful ways of coping that align with your values.

Health Anxiety, Illness & Disability

Living with health anxiety, chronic illness or disability can impact your sense of safety, identity and wellbeing. Therapy can help you reduce fear and hypervigilance, process the emotional impact of health challenges and develop ways to feel more grounded and at ease in your body and daily life.

Anger & Frustration

Anger and frustration can feel overwhelming or difficult to control, often leading to conflict, guilt or regret. These feelings often mask deeper emotions such as fear, hurt or shame. Therapy can help you understand what’s underneath anger, learn to regulate intense emotions and express yourself in healthier, more constructive ways.

Men’s Issues

Many men experience pressure to stay strong, suppress emotions or cope alone. This can lead to anxiety, anger, shutdown or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Therapy offers a confidential, non-judgmental space to verbalise emotions, build self-understanding and develop healthier ways of relating and coping.

Loneliness & Disconnection

Loneliness can be deeply painful, even when you’re around other people. You may feel unseen, misunderstood or emotionally cut off. Counselling provides a supportive space to explore these feelings, understand underlying patterns and begin reconnecting with yourself and with meaningful relationships.

Get in touch

No matter what you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, reflection, and practical guidance as you navigate your experiences and reconnect with your own strength and clarity
