Online counselling for men. Anger, stress, and the stuff that builds up.

Working with clients across the UK online and by phone.

I work primarily with men, though I welcome anyone who feels this space is right for them.

Someone who gets it.

I’m a qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP. I work online with men across the UK, often men who haven’t done therapy before and aren’t sure what to expect.

I know what it’s like to carry things quietly and feel like you just have to get on with it. I grew up in a house where feelings weren’t really talked about. You dealt with things on your own and got on with it. Things build up that way.

Many of the men I work with come feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like something’s been building for a long time without anywhere to put it. Together we work to understand what’s driving that, not just cope with it, but actually make sense of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is online counselling as effective as face-to-face? Research consistently shows yes, it’s just as effective for most issues. Many people actually find it easier to open up from their own space.

What happens in the first session? A chance to share what’s been going on, at your own pace. No pressure to tell your whole story, we start wherever feels right.

Is everything confidential? Yes. The only exceptions are serious safety concerns, which I’d always aim to discuss with you first. I follow the BACP ethical framework.

What if I can’t make a session? I ask for 48 hours notice where possible. I’ll always try to be flexible if something unexpected comes up.

How many sessions will I need? It varies. Many people notice real change in 8–12 sessions, others prefer longer term. You’re never locked in.

How do I know if counselling is right for me? If something is getting in the way of how you want to feel or live, it’s worth a conversation. The free intro call is a good way to find out, no commitment needed.

What do I need for online sessions? A phone or laptop, a stable internet connection, and a private space. Sessions are via Google Meet, no account needed.

I’m not sure I’m ready — is that okay? Completely normal. Send a message without any commitment, or come back when you’re ready. I’ll be here.
